Francesca Mulazzi

Francesca Mulazzi has held various leadership roles across the globe, beginning as PK-12 Principal & AP Coordinator at the International School of Aruba (2011-2013). Her career has been shaped by international experiences, including a doctoral research sabbatical in Beira, Mozambique (2013-2015), and later as IB DP Coordinator & CAS Coordinator at the American International School of Lusaka, Zambia (2015-2019). From 2019 to 2023, Mulazzi served as Head of Upper School at Saint George’s School in Spokane, WA, before transitioning to her current role as High School Principal at the International School of Panama (2023-present).

Mulazzi holds a K-12 Principal Certification from the New Hampshire Department of Education. Her academic background includes a Doctor of Education in Leadership, Learning & Community from Plymouth State University, a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Oregon, and a Bachelor of Arts in French and Italian Literature from the University of Vermont.

 Francesca will be joined by her husband, Mike, a security specialist.

Billy Thomas

With 21 years of experience, Billy Thomas is currently serving as Middle School Principal at Colegio Nueva Granada in Bogotá, Colombia. Prior to this, he held the role of Interim Middle School Principal and Associate Principal at Concordia International School in Shanghai, China. His  journey also includes work as a Curriculum Officer for Language Arts at Houston ISD in Texas, USA, and as a Grade 6 Team Leader at the International School of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Thomas holds a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, TX, and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Christianity from Houston Christian University. His qualifications include certifications from the State of Texas Educator Board (EC-12 Mid Management/ELA 4-12), Professional Learning Communities certification from Solution Tree, and Design Thinking training through Stanford University’s K-12 Lab. Additionally, he completed the Teachers College Reading and Writing Project at Columbia University, and earned International Baccalaureate Educator and College Board AP certifications.

Billy will be joined by his wife, Jaime, a learning support educator, and their two children.

Samiha Carroll

Samiha Carroll is currently serving as an Assistant Principal at George Washington Academy in Casablanca, Morocco and plays a pivotal role in shaping the school’s leadership team and supporting student success. Prior to this, Carroll was the Principal of Rainier Valley Leadership Academy in Seattle, WA, where strategic leadership focused on community engagement and student achievement.

Carroll holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D) in Educational Leadership, expected in December 2024 from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She also holds two Master of Science degrees, one in Educational Leadership from the University of Alaska Southeast and another in Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment from Walden University. Carroll earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Morgan State University in 2003.

In addition to her leadership roles, she has taught at several schools, including BASIS International School in Hangzhou, China, where she taught elementary humanities. She also served as a Principal on Site and Curriculum Mentor in the Northwest Arctic Borough School District in Alaska, providing leadership in rural and indigenous communities.
