Artificial Intelligence Statement

Artificial Intelligence (e.g. ChatGPT) is an emerging technology that can be leveraged as a learning tool. Learn more about this here.  As a school, we are still determining how to best use this innovative new technology. 

For the time being, we are making 3 commitments: 

1. We will continue to expect students to provide evidence of their own learning. 

2. We will continue to be guided by our published policies in each Section Handbook, referring to Digital Citizenship (ES/MS) and Academic Integrity (HS).

3. We will continue to support staff, students, and families as we learn together about Artificial Intelligence in education.

We are forming a strategic committee to determine a long-term, sustainable way to best leverage this in service to our students. 

Should issues or concerns arise, please check in with your divisional principals.
